VINE

The system is linked with VINE which scans the jail booking computers every ten minutes and will notify victims registered in the VINE System of an inmates release. The VINE System also does monthly billing of state inmates and a monthly report, directly to Social Security. Social Security benefits are stopped to inmates that are in jail for 30 days or more.

By calling 1-800-511-1670, information on an inmate in the state prison system or the County jail system can be obtained. The caller, after registering with VINE System, can be notified of an inmates release. The Vine Computer scans the jail computer every ten minutes.
